Shiloh Living History - 2002


The WIG Portrayed the 2nd Tennessee For This Event. 2nd Tennessee Information at Shiloh - The 2nd entered Shiloh with 385 effectives. Colonel Bate was wounded during the first days fighting and Lieutenant Colonel Goodall assumed the command. During the two days fighting of April 6th and 7th, 1862, the regiment lost 235 men killed, wounded or missing. This was almost 65% of the regiment. In the second days fighting the regiment was combined with troops of General Stewart's Brigade.
